Sunthon Phu Monument. Five kilometers further on from Laem Mae Phim on the beach road. The place was built to commemorate one of Thailand’s most famous poets in the early Rattanakosin era, two centuries ago. Sunthon Phu, a Rayong native, had written his literary works as Phra Aphai Mani being his most well-known work.
